Job Description:
The Digital Transformation & CIIO Office is a transversal function within the Global IT & Innovation practice. It is responsible for enabling and accelerating the Digital Transformation Plan, which encompasses Strategy, Communication, Transversal Programs Management, Portfolio Management, Change Management, Vendor Management & Procurement, as well as Cost Control Management and Governance.
At Ferrovial, we are always seeking highly skilled professionals. Currently, we are looking for a CIIO Office Manager. This role involves supporting the evolution of the company’s digital strategy through constant and close interaction with Ferrovial’s Chief Information & Innovation Officer (CIIO). The CIIO Office Manager will communicate key programs and impactful initiatives across the organization and orchestrate multiple executive meetings at both the Board and Executive Committee levels. This ensures alignment with the corporate strategy and generates the necessary traction for key programs to deliver their intended time-to-value and estimated impact.
The CIIO Office Manager will build relationships across the organization and help teams connect across business areas and geographies to influence stakeholders when needed.
- Support the evolution of the digital strategy and its alignment with the business strategy.
- Support the Portfolio Management area in the definition of transversal and business unit programs and initiatives, along with their corresponding KPIs, leveraging technology and innovation to achieve targets.
- Challenge and enhance methodologies for evaluating strategic opportunities within technology and innovation areas.
- Conduct external research, analyze case studies, build and track competitor landscapes and analyses, and benchmark cross-industry best practices.
- Provide valuable inputs for management decisions, enhancing competitiveness and program effectiveness.
- Support the definition and evolution of the IT operating and governance model across business units, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities.
- Design and implement frameworks for business evaluation, business planning, project management, and KPI tracking across transversal initiatives at a senior level.
- Support the CIIO agenda with internal and external presentations, town halls, and forums. Manage agendas, engage with stakeholders, and coordinate relevant activities crucial for the success of key priorities driven by the CIIO.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive digital and innovation communication strategy and plan, focused on both internal and external stakeholders. This includes mapping opportunities for awards and global recognition forums to increase awareness of Ferrovial’s leadership in digital innovation.
- Consistently deliver messages positioning the Digital Transformation program and its key deliverables as top priorities to be nurtured and monitored.
- Act as a transversal leader, facilitating alignment among multiple stakeholders.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- University degree in Higher Engineering (Computer Science, Telecommunications, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field).
- Proven experience of 5-10 years in leading highly complex multi-functional transformation programs across different geographies.
- Business consulting skills developed in a corporate environment or at management consultancies are a plus but not mandatory.
- High-level proficiency in English.
- Strong command of the MS Office suite.

- Ability to navigate different organizational structures and seniority levels.
Relationship Building:
- Capable of developing strong, long-term relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster trust and eliminate ambiguity.
