Our Group Procurement and Supply Chain team is at the heart of Verisure's operations, driving excellence in end-to-end supply chain management. This includes:
- Procurement, Sourcing, and Category Management: Ensuring we secure the best products and services at competitive prices.
- Demand & Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Supply Operations, and Order Fulfilment: Balancing supply with customer demand, managing inventory, and ensuring seamless order fulfilment.
- Vendor Management and Capacity Planning: Building and maintaining strong relationships with our vendors and planning capacity to meet our needs.
- Global Logistics: Managing the efficient and effective movement of goods across the globe.
- PMO Office and Supply Chain Readiness: Leading projects and ensuring our supply chain is prepared for the future.
- ESG & Risk Management: Ensuring we meet our environmental, social, and governance responsibilities while managing risks.

Responsibilities of the Group Logistics Director
As the Group Logistics Director, you will lead our end-to-end logistics operations, steering a talented team of professionals with diverse and robust backgrounds. Your role will focus on continuous improvement, optimizing performance, and enhancing the efficiency of our logistics operations. The role reports to T Director of Global Procurement & Supply Chain at Verisure Mariano Andreu (Linkedin profile), who himself reports to the Group CFO.
In a dynamic environment with over 10% year-on-year business growth, your role will be crucial in ensuring smooth execution of the end-to-end logistics operation. You will be responsible for elevating our logistics map's design and operations by executing and owning the Yearly Logistics Efficiency Plan through digitalization, automation, and efficiency.
As the Group Logistics Director at Verisure Group, you will be at the forefront of our end-to-end logistics operations, driving excellence across our B2B, B2C, and retail channels. You will oversee:
- Inbound freight activities from key regions including Asia, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe.
- Indoor operations (storage, pick, pack, kit, ship, and value-added services in our three European distribution centers located in Spain, Sweden, and the Netherlands.
- Outbound distribution and freight operations to European and Latin American markets.
- Reverse logistics operations and manage our global repair center in Spain, ensuring top-notch repair services and operational efficiency.
ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) considerations are integral to this role. As the Group Logistics Director, you will implement and execute with our logistics partners our ESG impacting our CO2 emissions, waste management processes, maximizing the usage of energy renewals in our logistics operations and bringing ESG targets and plans (sustainable sourcing and operations) as part of the day to day logistics operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leadership: Manage and inspire a team of 15-18 people based in Madrid and Malmö, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Cost and Budget Control: Utilize analytics and efficiency KPIs to control costs and manage the budget for logistics operations effectively.
- Logistics Network Design: Assess and enhance the competitiveness of our logistics network design, proposing and implementing innovative alternatives.
- Digitalization and Analytics: Strengthen digitalization and analytics within logistics execution to drive operational efficiency.
- Operations Management: Oversee 3 distribution centers (DCs) with third-party logistics operations and additional external warehouses (WHs).
- Distribution Network: Manage the European distribution network for B2B, B2C, and retail channels.
- Repair Centers: Oversee 2 external repair center operations, ensuring high standards of service and efficiency.
- Transportation Management: Manage on-road, sea, and air transportation and customs activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
This position will require significant travel - depending on where the person will be based (Geneva, Malmo or Madrid) this could be up to 40%.
Candidate profile
Experiences and Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in progressive management roles within distribution, logistics, and freight management, in a company of similar complexity, international scope, and fast-paced environment as Verisure.
- Previous experience in consumer electronics, telecommunications, or retail is a strong advantage.
- University degree in a highly analytical field such as engineering, operations, business, or physics. An MBA or specific supply chain and logistics certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in people management, including team leadership and developing future leaders.
- Skilled in assessing logistics and supply chain needs and formulating long-term strategies.
- Experienced in managing and evaluating third-party logistics providers, warehouse operations, and transport services.
- Experience in managing reverse logistics operations is an advantage.
- Exposure to implementing network designs across multiple countries.
- Proficient with ERP systems, particularly Oracle, and experienced in ERP implementations.
- Strong project management and implementation skills with a proven track record of successful execution at both strategic and operational levels.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
