What do you get to do in this position?
Participate in the process and manufacturing teams to implement the NAM Primary Packaging Roadmap dictated by the PP/PS Sustainability Team. · Conduct research and studies on which sustainable packaging products are best suited for implementation at the local site, including coordinating formalized testing at laboratories. · Coordinate with manufacturing, process, SCH, procurement etc on implementing new sustainable materials. · Lead local team to ensure all aspects of project have been implemented. · Physically assist with label changes, warehouse changes, workstation modifications, bin changes, etc. as needed per project · Research and Procure new fixtures, tools, bins, work stations, etc as needed per project · Conduct 3F and assist with FAIR reporting · Provide hypercare for new sustainable materials that have been implemented, and continuously resolve issues with new implementations. · Assist with reporting to PP/PS Sustainability team on project updates and completions. · Conduct financial impacts per project, including cost analysis, cycle time analysis, etc. · Assist with any XFMEA analysis that is required for each implementation. · Assist with work instruction modifications. Document the technical and generic specifications of the packaging process including line layouts, station layouts, capacity and workload balancing, preferred component usage, etc… · Ensure assembly process deliverables are aligned with global assembly process practices · Coordinate and assist with equipment installations and validations, if required. Obtain plant acceptance and provide the final sign-off on tool and process for project deliverables while following the principles of Schneider Performance System (SPS)
