It is Trading’s task to maximize value by growing and leveraging the platform.We are seeking top talent to join our Trade Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for automating Trade Finance transactions in international commodity markets, managing financial guarantees, and optimizing working capital.
The responsibilities we´ll trust you with
- Drive the digital transformation and automation of Trade Finance transactions in global commodity markets, including crude oil, products, gas, and energy.
- Oversee the management of documentary guarantees (LCs, SBLCs, PCGs, bank guarantees, bid bonds, etc.), while crafting innovative solutions to optimize the group’s working capital.
- Lead the financial analysis and modeling of investment projects, focusing on capital structure and securing the best financing options.
- Monitor and optimize derivative portfolios in clearinghouses, negotiating effectively with key counterparties like clearing banks and institutions.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with Trade Finance teams, financial institutions, insurers, and brokers, ensuring smooth and efficient collaboration.
- Deliver insightful reports, presentations, and analyses to keep stakeholders informed and aligned with strategic objectives.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Engineering, or a similar field. A master’s degree in business management or specialized courses in financial analysis, structured finance, and/or trading is highly desirable.
- 2-3 years of professional experience in finance or trading, with responsibilities relevant to the role.
- Proficiency in English at a C1 level or higher.
- Foundation in executing Trade Finance operations.
- Expertise in Structured Finance and financial modeling.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerBI.
- Exceptional analytical skills, both fundamental and technical, for decision-making, problem-solving, and managing risk in operations.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with experience in an international environment.
- High level of autonomy, versatility, and proactivity.
- Familiarity with international platforms such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, or Platts.
- Knowledge of Energy Trading Risk Management (ETRM) systems is a plus.
