Job Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking an experienced Head of Procurement Office, to be responsible for some key missions of the SGS Global Procurement department, mainly related to Sustainability, Risks, Systems and tools, Communication and Training.
The successful candidate will be the owner of the key missions in scope, managing a team of 2 FTEs, and will provide the related expertise, guidance and support to our affiliates.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage a team of 2 direct reports (one primarily focused on Training and Communication, the other one on System and tools)
- Training
- Own and manage SGS Procurement training catalogue (delivered through the online training platform Coursera)
- Build and deliver adhoc trainings (e.g. on SGS Procurement policy, Sustainability, etc.) through different media (e.g. online, through Teams, through written formats)
- Communication
- Ensure regular communication through Newsletters, Viva Engage or Procurement Success Stories
- Prepare adhoc communications on various subjects, through different channels (SharePoint, Viva Engage, emails, calls, …)
- Organize and prepare Townhalls, Procurement Awards, Voice Of Customer, contribution to SGS Annual Report, Thematic Events
- Own and maintain the global Procurement SharePoint site
- Own and maintain the Procurement organization chart and the Emails distribution lists
- Systems and tools
- Ensure, both for Workday (used for online sourcing, projects pipeline and savings reporting) and Sievo (used for spend analysis):
- Training to end users
- Maintenance, i.e., support to users, technical problem solving, configuration changes
- Enhancements and developments, related to new requirements, changes in procurement taxonomy, approval flows etc.
- Reporting, through the maintenance or creation of reports or Power BI dashboards
- Risk Management
- Own SGS Procurement risks identification and management
- Together with the affiliates, identify, mitigate and report risks related to Procurement
- Ensure accurate reporting and follow-up, from global and countries teams, in SGS risks management solution (Riskonnect)
- Sustainability
- Ownership, management and reporting of SGS Procurement sustainability targets, related to:
- the compliance of SGS suppliers with the principles of the SGS Code of Conduct
- the reduction of SGS supply chain CO2 emissions
- the monitoring of SGS key suppliers through our global SAQ (Self-Assessment Questionnaire) program
- Rebates Management
- Management of the rebates programs with the global vendors, to ensure a proper management of invoices and accruals, and timely payment of the rebates
- Contract Management
- Monitoring of global contracts to ensure they are properly stored and followed
- Management of ad hoc global and transversal projects (e.g. review and management of payment terms, review of the spend category tree, …).

Qualifications
PROFILE
Education
- Master’s degree in Procurement, Business administration, or a related field
Experience
- Minimum 10 years in international Procurement, with minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position, in a complex organization with globally distributed stakeholders and teams
