The Financial Controller manages the overall budget, funding and cost topics for IMa platform as well as the financial performance, P&L and BS, of the two legal entities in Madrid. It is a great opportunity to work globally, across all IMa, with diverse stakeholders, and manage a variety of finance topics.
Responsabilities:
- Elaborate and follow-up the IMa platform budget and cost topics with each corporate center team and function according to budgeting calendar, building effective transversal relationships with the stakeholders.
- Manage financial controlling, P&L and BS at IFRS and Local GAAP levels, including two legal entities (Holding and Service company) in Madrid, ensuring the accurately and timely preparation of quarterly financial reports and participating in the preparation of the Board meeting documentation.
- Provide cost-analytical and financial analysis and comments.
- Lead the re-invoicing process, including the preparation of the annual documentation to support the services invoiced (service detail report) and the time allocation.
- Elaborate the cash flow estimation and treasury closing monitoring. Being able to proactively propose cash and ageing optimizations.
- Manage transversal mission on group corporate center costs.
- Support local audits.
Profile:
Technical knowledge
- 3 years’ experience in Controlling functions with dedicated experience in cost controlling. International scope and finance transformation would be a plus.
- Experience in Big Four or consultancy company.
- Background in Finance, Business Administration or Economics. CPA, CFA would be valuable.
- Advance level in English and Spanish. French would be a plus.
Competencies and approaches
- Strong communication skills with ability to involve and influence stakeholders within an international environment while being an internal business partner.
- Curiosity and proactive approach to propose and implement action plans to improve and transform current processes.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel required, Power Pivot and VBA Macros valuable.
- Prior experience with SAP reporting and COUPA would be considered.
