Role mission
We are seeking for a highly skilled and experienced senior manager to develop and lead the new Strategic Marketing Planning function within the Industrial Automation business. In this role you will be responsible to define and provide a structured marketing approach for Industrial Automation, ensuring that marketing efforts are aligned with overall business objectives and focus on impactful activities.
By mapping out & prioritizing our marketing action plans for implementation, you will help ensure resources are streamlined & allocated, optimizing marketing investments. The role will act as a key lever to drive transformation and success in an international environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of the strategic marketing planning, prioritization & performance tracking; tailored to the Industrial Automation growth strategy to deliver an effective annual marketing & execution plan.
- Drive the strategic marketing planning ensuring goals settings, success measurement, resources allocation and execution roadmap while being flexible to adapt in a changing environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the Industrial Automation and key markets/ countries to align on the marketing strategies, action plans and milestones to ensure impactful execution.
- Review and analyze existing planning processes and cadence to provide recommendation, guidelines & actionable insights for better alignment and impact.
- Set & measure marketing plan's effectiveness based on agreed success metrics and KPIs with leaders as part of the planning hand shake.
- Analyze marketing plan impact, extracting key data insights to support, adapt & adjust plans for increased effectiveness.
- Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment, support, and visibility, specifically with our main countries.
- Drive innovation in Strategic marketing planning methodology and project planning & leveraging advance tools & staying abreast of best practices to continuously improve our capabilities.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- > 8 years of global experience in marketing in an MNC or a marketing agency
- Proven experience in marketing strategy, project management, planning
- Leverage processes and tools to develop marketing strategies for business impact & growth
- Proficiency in project management tools and strong organizational skills
- Ability to simplify processes, and implement effective frameworks execution and performance tracking
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up sleeves to get the job done
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to drive change management
- Highly developed interpersonal, advocacy, negotiation and communication skills to be able to work effectively with individuals without direct line of authority
- Strong sense of ownership with bias for action and focus on outcomes
