Job purpose:
To manage, plan, execute, and report on Internal Audit activity within International Markets in order to provide timely, independent assurance and in doing so, to improve the control culture.
Key Accountabilities:
- Oversees the completion of all phases of the audit process for assigned audits to the required Group and IIA standards.
- Maintains a strong understanding of key developments in business, technology (e.g. cloud), security and data matters, and keeps abreast of regulatory requirements for the area of the business covered.
- Performs risk assessments for the area of the IT/business covered, contributing significantly to the entity’s annual internal audit plan
- Ensure high quality of reporting and audit work performed.
- Develops effective relationships with relevant management within the IT/business areas covered.
- Works with management in tracking action plans to assist with timely resolution.
- Shares expertise within the wider Global Internal Audit family.
- Is responsible for their own professional development and pro-actively identifies relevant training and development needs and develops their own professional network.
Profile:
Experience:
- 10+ years’ experience in one or more of information risk related matters (information security, data management and privacy, IT project and solution delivery, IT operations and infrastructure, business continuity), data analytics practices and tools, Insurance or Internal Audit
- Qualifications and certifications in Internal audit, security, Cloud, Agile practices are an advantage.
