Area Manager – Latin America will help the Company to be closer to the markets, support its distributors, find new partners in new countries and identify development opportunities achieving budget results in terms of revenue and margin in the assigned area.
The Area Manager will report to the LATAM Regional Manager.
Your major responsabilities :
Identify uncovered / under covered areas of the market, and target via establishment of direct sales and/or appointment of new strategic distribution channels or new countries
Achieve growth and hit sales targets by increasing the distributor base
Lead the network of distributors and ensure answers to their questions by liaising with the relevant departments internally
Monitor the evolution of business models in different countries: distribution, products and prices of direct and indirect competition
Promote our products and improve the visibility, notoriety and market share of our brands
Identify and establish the best distribution channels for the company and its products, scouting new business opportunities and new partnerships
Participate to the main fairs and exhibitions to promote business in the selected area
Define and implement a local marketing plan in accordance with the defined annual group marketing plan and monitor its proper execution
Elaborate and propose to the headquarters the annual sales budget and monthly sales forecasts in line with the assigned guidelines and objectives
This position, requiring a detailed understanding of the local market, will allow you to be at the heart of the international challenges of our brands. It obviously involves regular travel.
About you :
Relevant University or Business School degree with a specialization in international trade and experience in international business development.
Experience in cosmetic export markets
Experience and documented results from previous sales, marketing, business development or management positions
Demonstrated experience of managing partners
Excellent negotiation and sales closing skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Fluent in Spanish and English, and ideally, you also know French.
