Warehouse Supervisor
The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee and ensures that the number of shipments, quality metrics, revenue, and transactional sales are closely monitored and managed to meet productivity goals and target sales figures.
The warehouse supervisor will collaborate with suppliers by guidance to maintain operations under control and deliver the results expected by the organization and managing Customer Service and Quality related processes, adeptly handling issues and steering them towards prevention, ensuring Schneider Quality Policy. suggests and proposes new processes aimed at minimizing human error through automation.
Her forward-thinking approach not only enhances efficiency but also contributes to the continuous improvement of the distribution center's operations.
Responsibilities
Leads Customer Site Visits and Interactions program: Communicates with customers to provide key performance indicators and service levels; understands and listens to concerns and needs of the customers and follows up with actions plans; negotiates with customers on the logistics terms and delivery of shipments characteristics; visits various branches of customers to understand the specific needs of each of them; provides immediate actions for their concerns and specifications; and advocate for the customer into our site with the 3PL. Supervise and Ensure Execution of the Shipment Plan: Manages collaborative efforts with the planning, warehouse, inbound and outbound teams to organize daily plans of shipments to achieve targets and accomplish the full capacity of the operations; and supervises productivity and operation.
Leads the Mexico Allocation Program of all the Business Units: Oversees the cleaning of backorder value for customers; manages collaborative efforts with the planning team to receive the forecast materials and release high runners’ materials and specific sale orders; collaborates with business development managers to review the recovery product plan with the manufacturing plants to allocate properly and balance the customer’s inventory.
Leads Operations to Achieve Revenue Target Sales: Monitors and identifies high potential barriers that would impede delivery of key materials to distributors and work with commercial, front office, channels management and finance members to follow up the sales target and consumption of distributors to achieve the target of each one.
Leads the SDP Program: Lead the Schneider Development Program team members on their rotations into the Mexico Distribution Center, follow up with them the development and performance goals and supervise the tasks completed.
Functions as the Sustainable Program Champion:
Oversees sustainable projects, manages follow up efforts with suppliers’ and implementation activities with the team to deliver results into the operation and measurement of CO2 reduction aligned with North America key performance indicators.
Manages the Adherence of Golden rules on Shipments: Ensures the accomplishment of quality golden rules on every shipment to customers; shares the golden rules specifications for the shipments to follow with the team; and prepares the material, packaging, and pallets in that way.
Manages Quality Control Measures: Manages the implementation of stringent quality control measures for incoming and outgoing goods to minimize the risk of shipping defective products, which could lead to customer dissatisfaction or safety issues.
Standardizes Training Procedures and Processes: Ensures standardization and training procedures across multiple departments and shifts are aligned with Schneider Performance systems standards from the logistics cluster in North America and with the 3PL.
Drives Relevant Quality Programs and Methods: Drives Relevant Quality Programs and Methods (8D, Lean 6 sigma, SPS, etc.) to ensure continuous improvement into the site for all the areas and daily operation.
