Responsibilities
The Opportunity
PepsiCo’s Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process is transforming decision-making to drive sustainable growth by aligning strategic, financial, and operational goals across the business. By integrating product, marketing, sales, supply chain, and finance into a single, data-driven plan, IBP enables faster, more informed decisions. It goes beyond supply and demand matching—helping us stay agile, competitive, and aligned from supplier to customer. The process spans key areas such as Sales & Operations Execution (iS&OE), Sales & Operations Planning (iS&OP), and Strategic Planning.
Your Impact
As the LATAM Commercial and Financial Planning Manager, you will:
- Lead all phases of IBP design, development, and deployment for LATAM, focusing on Financial & Commercial Planning.
- Drive collaboration between Commercial (Sales, Marketing, NRM, GTM) and Finance (e.g., FP&A) teams to integrate planning tools like Trade Promotions Management (TPM) and Mosaic with IBP.
- Define and document functional specifications, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Oversee the commercial forums and contribute to IBP processes (e.g., PMR, DMR, DC Forums) for smooth execution.
- Maintain the IBP global template, focusing on commercial and financial planning, with an emphasis on short- and mid-term horizons.
- Work with the Data & Analytics team to ensure commercial data objects meet business requirements.
- Design and refine LATAM’s SMR and Commercial Control processes, implementing KPIs and scorecards for effective IBP execution.
- Support the development of training materials for Commercial and Finance teams.
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Share best practices internally and externally to elevate PepsiCo’s IBP capabilities.
- Ensure key IBP sub-processes (e.g., Product Review, Commercial Review, PxF, AoP) meet standards and drive value.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to harmonize planning processes across the region.
- Support the recruitment, training, and onboarding of new team members.
