The Distributed Systems IT Services Manager is responsible for leading and managing the design, implementation, and maintenance of distributed computing systems within the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of various typologies of distributed systems, including but not limited to client-server, peer-to-peer, and cluster-based systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement IT strategies for distributed systems, cloud computing, and network infrastructure
Oversee the security and reliability of distributed systems, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
Manage system performance and capacity to meet the organization's business needs
Lead a team of IT professionals focused on distributed systems, providing guidance, support, and mentorship
Coordinate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of distributed systems with business operations
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in distributed systems and cloud computing
Your Profile
7+ years of experience in IT management, with a focus on distributed systems and cloud computing
Proven expertise in various typologies of distributed systems, such as client-server, peer-to-peer, and cluster-based systems
Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team of IT professionals
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
